About Better Future
When good people meet, good things will follow. That’s been our guiding principle since we started in 2003, and is still leading in everything we do. We’re a team of realistic dreamers who are incredibly smart, street-wise, and dedicated to making a difference.

We guide companies to create meaningful growth, foster inclusive learning, and put diversity & inclusion into practice. By translating bold ambitions into leadership. By making sure everybody in your organisation is on a mission and ready to make a difference.

How we do that is kind of unique; we always connect different worlds. We bring together corporates and social enterprises or NGO’s. Always cross-cultural and cross-sectional.

Over the past 17 years, we’ve worked together with over 30,000 people across 50 plus countries to help them discover their mission and bring it to life. We’ve created unique partnerships and initiatives that make the world a better place.

Today, we have a strong alumni network consisting of mission-driven leaders and organisations that are bringing about real change in a dynamic and inclusive manner. We humanise organisations to turn business into a force for good.

The internship
We’re looking for an enthusiastic intern to work with us for 5 months, starting as soon as possible. Someone who wants to be part of a passionate group of consultants to learn the ins and outs of the trade. Our team currently consists of 9 people who have one mission in mind: maximise our positive impact on the (business) world around us.

Because we believe that business has the potential to make the world better and fairer. That doing better and doing good can and should go hand-in-hand. So, we guide companies to become a force for good. By aligning their purpose, strategy and leadership. By translating their business ambitions to daily practices amongst employees. By ensuring sustainable growth.

We do this by working closely with different clients to help move their organisation forward; to be of value to society rather than just making money. We maximise our impact by designing, executing and implementing long-term strategies that are both profitable and good for society.

As a full member of the team, you will gain hands on experience and will help us work towards achieving our goals.

Your tasks
You will work with us, answering to the team’s requests, to:

  • Support the team in day-to-day activities involving organizational tasks like scheduling meetings, scouting locations for sessions, administrative tasks and updating our CRM system
  • Conduct research benefiting our innovation activities
  • Proactively participate in and give support during (team) sessions and meetings
  • Proactively attend and scout sales leads
  • Come up with creative ideas for our social media channels, give support where needed

Your profile

  • You are a Bachelor or Master student;
  • You have a strong interest in business as a force for good. You are eager to learn more about our world and want to contribute to a brighter future;
  • You are well organised, creative and have a good eye for details. You have an ‘all-hands on deck’ attitude;
  • You have strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills;
  • You are fluent in Dutch and/or English, both written and spoken. A second language would be an asset.

We offer an internship with a variety of tasks and responsibilities in a dynamic working atmosphere. We are a small team with an entrepreneurial mindset. You will get the chance to work in a highly driven environment, learn more about the future of business, and have real impact.

We are looking for an intern who can start tomorrow. Working hours can be somewhat flexible, but on average you will work 32 hours per week. We offer a compensation of €500 per month (gross/full-time).

As we follow the local guidelines by the RIVM closely, our staff currently works from home. We meet up in pairs from time to time. Either way we ensure daily communication with the team and regular “check-ins” online.

Better Future strives to be an inclusive environment and is fully committed to this in the recruitment, selection and placement of staff. All interested parties, regardless of race, colour, religion, age or gender, are welcome to apply. We believe that diversity and inclusion among the staff is critical to its success and wants to enhance the diversity of its workforce to reflect the world we live in.

Please respond as soon as possible. Please submit both a CV and letter of motivation in Dutch or English as a .pdf document (maximum 2 pages). For questions or submissions, please contact us by email intouch@better-future.com or by phone +31 343 449300.
