Your role
As a member of the Better Future team, the D&I Officer drives our mission inclusion. You will focus and work on client challenges about diversity & inclusion. With the bigger goal to expand our client base and knowledge to benefit both our clients and our own organisation. To finally amplify the inclusive mindset within business across the globe.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and expand a knowledge platform for Better Future on D&I related issues
  • Acquire clients (organisations) with whom to work with on addressing D&I challenges
  • Design and implement workshops, journeys and training sessions together with other team members and clients.

Required qualifications and experience
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic team player who is confident in taking initiative to create and design projects for maximum impact. Someone with a backpacker’s mentality; who likes to get their hands dirty but also loves a good cappuccino. This role requires flexibility, a good sense of humour, perseverance and some international travel. 

Our ideal candidate has the following

  • Master’s degree in relevant field (e.g. Social Sciences, Anthropology, Law, Politics, International Relations, Human Resource Development)
  • Fluent in Dutch and/or English
  • At least 7 years relevant work experience on D&I related issues
  • Experience in qualitative research (experience in quantitative research is a plus)
  • Proven track record in working closely with diverse stakeholders including the private sector
  • Knowledge of D&I practices in societal and/or work settings
  • Experience in conducting workshops and team sessions
